Nottingham Forest are back at the City Ground on Saturday as Tottenham Hotspur come to the City Stadium for gameweek 3 of the Premier League.
The Reds go into the game with a first point of the season after their 2-2 draw at Liverpool last weekend. Tottenham haven’t had the same start. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have lost their first two matches, conceding five goals without scoring once.
Forest looking to build on Liverpool point
There was plenty to like about Forest’s display at Anfield.
Dan Ndoye gave them the lead before Alexander Isak equalised. Morgan Gibbs-White then put Forest ahead again from the penalty spot, only for Victor Munoz to level things late on.
It was a much-needed result after Forest had lost both of their previous games against Leeds United.
Now they return home to face a Tottenham side who are already under some pressure. Spurs have lost 3-0 to Brentford and 2-0 to Newcastle in their opening two league matches.
Forest’s own record at the City Ground isn’t brilliant, though. They’ve won just once in their last 12 Premier League home games. However, the Reds have won their last four Premier League meetings with Tottenham.
The last two trips from Spurs to the City Ground ended in Forest wins too, with a 1-0 result in 2024-25 followed by a 3-0 victory last season.
