Nottingham Forest have opened fresh talks with Corinthians over a possible move for midfielder Andre, with negotiations understood to be centred around a £13.6 million deal.
The 20-year-old has quickly become one of the more closely watched young players in Brazilian football. He only made his top-flight debut last year, but his progress has already attracted interest from clubs in Europe.
Forest discuss £13.6m Andre deal
According to the Daily Mail, Corinthians and Forest have exchanged proposals for Andre, although the two clubs have not yet reached an agreement.
Forest aren’t the only European club to show serious interest. AC Milan tried to take the midfielder to Italy in January and later returned with an offer worth up to €17 million in February. Corinthians rejected that proposal.
Andre made his Corinthians debut in September 2025. Since then, he has established himself as a regular for Corinthians.
He has made 47 appearances, including 31 starts, while scoring seven goals and two assists.
The midfielder has also been involved in Corinthians’ recent success, featuring during their 2025 Copa do Brasil and 2026 Supercopa do Brasil triumphs.
Forest’s interest comes as Oliver Glasner looks to shape his midfield following Elliot Anderson’s departure. Xaver Schlager has already arrived this summer, but another young option could now be club’s option.
The proposals exchanged with Corinthians have not produced an agreement, but the £13.6m talks show Forest’s interest in bringing Andre to England is serious.
