Liam Delap is set to complete his Nottingham Forest move after agreeing terms with the club, with a medical scheduled for Wednesday.
Forest and Chelsea have finalised a £50m deal for the 23-year-old striker. According to Football Insider, Liam Delap is expected to travel to Nottingham for his medical, with no problems anticipated before the transfer is completed.
Forest have beaten competition from Everton and Leeds to get the deal done. It will be Delap’s second move in as many summers after Chelsea signed him from Ipswich.

The striker struggled to make the same impact at Chelsea, scoring just once in the Premier League during an injury-hit campaign that included shoulder and hamstring problems.
Forest will be hoping to get closer to the player who scored 12 times in 37 Premier League appearances for Ipswich after joining them from Manchester City.
Delap came through Derby County’s academy before moving to City in 2019. He later scored 24 goals in 20 Premier League 2 games during City’s title-winning 2020-21 season.
His arrival would also give Oliver Glasner another option after Forest failed to score against Leeds in their first two competitive games of the season.
Chris Wood and Igor Jesus both drew blanks in the 1-0 league defeat before Forest suffered another loss, this time 2-0, in the Carabao Cup.
Glasner had already hinted that more signings were coming.
“The club is working very hard to get these deals done,” he said. “I’m very confident that we will get in two more high-quality players.”
Forest have already brought in Ousmane Diomande for £34m, while Xaver Schlager and Steve Benda arrived as free agents.
Delap’s move would be another major piece of business and give Forest a striker with plenty to prove.
