Omari Hutchinson has left Nottingham Forest to join AC Milan on loan for the 2026/27 season.
The Italian club have paid around €4m for the loan and have an option to sign the winger permanently at the end of the campaign. That would cost a further €40m, with reports suggesting the deal could eventually become an obligation to buy.
Hutchinson’s move to Milan comes only a year after Forest paid around £37.5m to sign him from Ipswich Town.

Things didn’t quite work out for Omari Hutchinson at the City Ground.
He made 31 senior appearances for Nottingham Forest and scored once. In the Premier League, he started 17 games and had to deal with a lot of change around him, with four different managers taking charge during the season.
Now he gets a chance to start again in Italy.
AC Milan confirmed that Omari Hutchinson had completed his medical before signing the loan agreement, which runs until June 30, 2027.
“AC Milan today announced the temporary signing of Omari Elijah Giraud-Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest FC, including an option to make the transfer permanent. The loan agreement runs until 30 June 2027.”
The move also includes a potential route to a permanent deal. Milan can pay the additional €40m to keep Hutchinson beyond this season, with a three-year contract through to June 2030 also reported as part of the arrangement.
The winger also helped England Under-21 win the European Championship in 2025.
